Hypixel Ranks Explained

Hypixel's purchasable ranks, per Hypixel Support, are VIP, VIP+, MVP, MVP+, and MVP++. They are bought on the official Hypixel Store, apply to one Minecraft account, and are not a cape you can peel off and stick on another profile.
A ranked alt on alts.cool is an account that already has one of those ranks at listing time. It is not a coupon for store.hypixel.net, and it is not a promise that Hypixel will never punish the account later.
The ladder
Higher ranks include the perks of the ranks below them. Exact perk lists and prices change; Hypixel tells you to read store.hypixel.net for the current catalog. This article does not quote prices.
VIP is the entry paid rank. Chat prefix [VIP].
VIP+ adds the next perk bundle on top of VIP.
MVP is the mid paid rank.
MVP+ is the permanent high rank. It is also the rank you must already own before Hypixel will sell you MVP++.
MVP++ is a subscription upgrade on top of MVP+. While it is active you get the MVP++ prefix and extras (including nickname features described in Hypixel's nickname article). When the subscription lapses, the account falls back to MVP+. That is not a shop rumor; it is how Hypixel documents the rank.
Staff and creator ranks exist on a different track. You cannot buy those from an alt listing.
What a ranked alt is
You are buying the account, with whatever rank is attached to that Java profile today. You are not buying a transferable cosmetic. If you later lose the account, the rank stays with the Microsoft/Java identity, not with you.
If the listing says MVP+ and delivery is VIP, that is a listing mismatch — open a ticket with a first-login recording inside the guarantee window.
Browse current ranked accounts only if you actually want the prefix/perks. If you only need Hypixel access, Hypixel unbanned is the matching category. If you only need a durable second account, use MFA.
Rules that still apply
Hypixel's server rules apply to every account, ranked or not. Punishment evasion is not allowed. No shop can sell immunity. "Unbanned at listing time" is a check, not a lifetime pass. Read Hypixel unbanned alts explained before you treat an unbanned tag as a strategy.
Nicknames
Full nickname/disguise access is documented for MVP++ (and the YouTube rank), with limits such as generated names and a daily change cap. If a listing promises "any nick you want, forever" on a VIP account, the listing is wrong.
